It feels like I have been out the whole afternoon. I actually only started going out in Istanbul after lunch. I think it is the extreme heat here that makes me feel like I have been out the whole day. The heat just saps my strength and I honestly don’t feel like going around. I have only been to three sights here in Istanbul but I was already tired. The sites weren’t that far apart but walking in the heat make it feel like they were kilometers apart. It is good that parts of this area have trees which makes it a little more bearable.

When visiting this area, you usually end up in the same places. I have already visited at least three of them and I just need to make it to the last one and I should be able to call it a day. The last destination is the Topkapi Palace Museum. Just from the name alone I have a feeling that this would be the most exhausting one to visit. As you can imagine, the Topkapi Palace is the palace that was erected after Mehmet the Conqueror. Palaces are normally huge and this one won’t be any different considering that Constantinople is largest city of the new Ottoman Empire. The Topkapi Palace Museum isn’t far from the Hagia Sophia Mosque. In fact, you would eventually run into it without even trying.
