Heading Back to Boracay

White Beach at Boracay

White Beach at Boracay

This wasn’t my first time doing an island hopping tour in Boracay. I believe at that time, Boracay hasn’t achieved the world wide fame it has now. Although it has been years since I did that island hopping tour, I still remember parts of the tour, at least that ones which impressed me the most about it. Puka beach is one of the spots which left a strong impression on me. I still remember being disappointed with the beach since it was all shell fragments and not “Boracay level” sand. And you know what, nothing else left an impression on me. It was only Puka Beach and that was it.

Before coming into this island hopping tour, I already knew not to keep my hopes up with the sights to see here. I knew that there wasn’t much to see here. I knew that the main beach is the best part, but part of me was hoping that there would be something new here. True, the Crystal Cove thing was something new but I would probably end up forgetting about again. The snorkeling spots was most probably somewhere else now, where hopefully, they won’t do any more random anchor drops thus ruining the coral. Unfortunately, my fears came true and there isn’t much to see in the island hopping tour. In my opinion, it would still be better to just stick with the main beach or just do the water sports activities here. Having said that, I think the island hopping tour is still a nice activity for the kids who haven’t done this before. Just remember that if you are looking for sights, you are looking in the wrong place. This is not necessarily a bad thing, why look elsewhere when you already have one of the beach beaches in the world right in front of you.
