Going to Lorsch

I left the city of Speyer to go to the town of Lorsch which isn’t too far away. However, I would need to take two separate trains to get there. I couldn’t find a direct train to Lorsch so this will have to do. I would need to first go to the city of Worms and transfer to another train going to Lorsch. I was looking at the giant train listing on display in the train stations and it seems that Lorsch is too small to show up in the listing. I used the ticket kiosk to buy the ticket but not before making sure I noted down which train to take.

The problem is that the train tickets don’t really say what the ticket was for. It will not print the train number to at least help remind you which one you should be taking. It seems the assumption here is that you know where places are and you would know to take the train going to some place to get to where you wanted to go because it passes there. I had to rely on Google Maps to make sure that I would be getting on the correct train. Still I only know that the train will pass by Lorsch and I won’t know how many stops before I get there. I hope I don’t get lost.
