Going to New York-New York Hotel and Casino

This intersection between Las Vegas Boulevard South and Tropicana is one of the most interesting I have seen in years. This intersection has four resort hotels in in each corner. MGM Grand, Tropicana, Excalibur and finally New York-New York Hotel and Casino. I keep saying how each hotel casino here in the Strip in Las Vegas would have each own theme and it is most certainly true. To be able to distinguish yourself from the crowd, each hotel would need to have its own identity. Most of the hotels here along the strip have taken to other other countries as inspiration for the resort. It is ironic that only now that I have seen one which has an American theme.

As the name implies, the New York-New York hotel and casino has New York as the general theme. Indeed, one of the most unique cultures or looks when it comes to America is concerned. I think the choice is very good. It is most distinctive looking at it from the outside. One thing New York city is famous for is its skyscrapers. It is amazing to see that the hotel and casino have replicas of the more well known buildings in New York. Of course, they won’t be as tall but the appear to be tall enough. The most prominent building here is the replica of the Empire State Building. For a while, it was Las Vegas’s and Nevada’s tallest building.
