Caesar’s Palace

Walking Inside the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace

It was another hot day in Las Vegas, it seems that no matter how early I try to get out, it is still very warm. At this point in the trip, I still have the rental car with me. This is good because I plan to go to visit The Strip today. I know that it is best to visit it at night when the lights are on but I won’t have the energy to do that by the time it gets dark. I have done a bit of shopping that morning so I should be free for the rest of the day. I decided to park at the Caesar’s Palace. There was a free and covered car park building which I thought would be a great place to leave the car while I go around.

The Caesar’s Palace as you might know is one of the most well known casino hotels at the Las Vegas Strip. Although this is the first time I have been here, I have already heard of the place. As you can imagine the whole theme of Caesar’s Palace is Roman everything. The designs of the hotel take a lot of inspiration from Roman architecture. These places wouldn’t look out of place in Italy, except that these ones are just replicas. Of course, Rome never built a fourteen story building back then. The inside of the hotel is just as impressive. I had no idea that it would be nice to walk around here. I thought that I would be seeing casinos and the rest would be all hotel which are off limits to visitors. However, this wasn’t the case. Because it is so warm outside, they made it such that it is nice and pleasant to walk inside. You can think of it as an indoor pedestrian mall.
