Going to Fremont Street

In this stage of my trip to the western United States, I have finally started to chill. I have been driving all over the place and essentially tiring myself out trying to see everything I can see. It isn’t much a holiday I am always tired. When I finally got back to Las Vegas, I decided to finally take it slow. There won’t be running after UNESCO World Heritage Sites here. I would instead just be walking around the strip and check out this city of sin. I was staying at the Plaza Hotel and Casino and what I didn’t know was that it was just across a famous Las Vegas landmark – Fremont Street.

I have never heard of Fremont Street so it was good that it was so near the hotel. It is difficult to miss since anyone would notice the huge canopy that covers the entire street. As I understand, Fremont Street used to be one of the faces of Las Vegas. There are several casino hotels here which would figure prominently in media. If you have ever seen photos of Las Vegas with all the bright lights of the casinos, you must have seen a photo of Fremont Street.
