At this point in my trip, I was just trying to cover as many places as I can within the day. Google Maps has been a huge help identifying any potential spots which might be worth visiting. I know that there are a lot of places which are marked on the map and that I won’t be able to visit them all. I just need to pick whichever one I think would be nice. One of these places is Wahweap Overlook. Overlooks will definitely get my attention. As the name implies, these are places which look over some other place. I had no idea what is being looked over but I needed to find out for myself.

I know that Google Maps can potentially show me what is there to see there but I will just pretend that it doesn’t. After all, I wouldn’t want to lose the sense of adventure in going a place you have never been to. If you see tons of photos of a place, then it would feel that you have already been there. Wahweap Overlook is further up the road from Glen Canyon Dam. It is actually on the way out of Page and you would reach the state of Utah if you keep on going. I don’t plan on going that far yet. For now, I will content myself with visiting Page Arizona.
