Massachusetts State House

It was a weekend and everyone seems to be out. Like a lot of people, I went to the park to get a little respite from the blazing sun. It wasn’t really much but at least it has trees to help keep visitors cooler. But you can see how people this place since because everyone seems to be here. Some people would be just sitting in the grass. Others were practicing stuff for school. Others were like me, being a tourist and taking photos. Boston Common is surrounded by some important structures but probably the most important structure here is the Massachusetts State House.

The state house can be easily spotted with its distinctive golden dome. Obviously, this is where the state offices are including the office of the governor. The Massachusetts State House is also one of the oldest state houses still in use in the United States. There was some construction at that time I was there but you can clearly see images of the local Boston Celtics team on display here. The Celtics made it to the NBA Finals and the whole city is supporting them. I’m personally follow the NBA and I was aware of this event. In fact, there would be two finals games held while I would be here in Boston. It is a shame that tickets are so expensive. I would probably end up watching it at a bar somewhere.
