Walking Along the Seine

It isn’t my first time to visit Paris but I think this is the first time I would be able to visit Paris at my own leisure. The previous time I was with friends and of course you will have to compromise when you are traveling as a group. The last time, I wasn’t able to take photos of Paris at night because we were already tired from all that walking. I probably would have been able to go but not the others. This time, I have more time here and I would be able to see places in Paris which I didn’t get to see before. I wasn’t that far from the Eiffel Tower. As you know this whole area is a historic area. In fact, it is a UNESCO Site under the name Paris, Banks of the Seine.

The Seine is the river which winds its way through Paris. There is a nice walk to do along the river and it is especially nice if it is at night because Paris just lights up at night. I didn’t want to head back to the hotel yet and I thought of walking off my dinner while I was at it. I can see that there are upper levels and lower levels when walking along the Seine. You can get closer to the water if you walk below but you don’t get to enjoy the city lights as much. I was walking on the upper level as that will give me a good idea of what is coming.
