Al Boraq High Speed Train
I forgot all my troubles getting to Morocco when I boarded the Al Boraq, Africa’s first bullet train. I was traveling from Rabat to Tangier, all I can say it that the train was very fast. I was impressed. The only thing missing from the Al Boraq was wifi. Unfortunately, I think this would be difficult since the train would be traveling through some remote areas en route to Tangier. I actually got a local Moroccan sim card for my phone so I would still have internet services as I go around the country. Services would pop back in once we approach a populated area.
Tanger-Ville Train Station
It was little surprised that we quickly arrived at our destination city of Tangier. Northern Morocco’s largest city and apparently it is also a tourist destination. I didn’t really have anything here since I just needed to transit through the city. There is a connecting train which I would have to catch but it won’t be leaving until three hours later. My schedule was basically ruined. Now my goal for today would be to just make it to my hotel. I’m sure that once I get there I won’t have to worry about the schedule anymore. For now, I can just take photos of the Al Boraq and the impressed Tanger-Ville Train Station.
