Stuck in Traffic with the Best View in the World

My visit to Logan Pass was uneventful. It was markedly cooler this time around with the winds being stronger now. Even if I got here midafternoon, parking was still easy to find here. I think it was because it was already the start of low tourist season and the numbers would dwindle even further as the weeks pass. As the number of tourists go down, the park management sees this as the perfect time to do repairs. There are less tourists now but the weather was still good enough to perform repairs. The Going to the Sun Road suffers from constant erosion because of where it is. As a result, there would be regular damages done to the road every season.

It was at this time that I got stuck getting out of the car park because there was maintenance being done on the road right outside Logan Pass. This cause a long line of vehicles to wait until the maintenance crew is done. As for me, I was just making my way out of the car park and I got stuck with the car facing the viewing area at Logan Pass. I couldn’t really think if anywhere else to get stuck in traffic. The view of the valley was really nice. What’s more, I was in the car and there was heating. It wasn’t just me enjoying the view. Other people were also getting out of their vehicles and taking photos while their car was stuck in traffic. I was there for around 30 minutes before the traffic started moving again.
