Warsaw at Night

I didn’t get to explore much of Warsaw city. The weather wasn’t so nice and it really just makes me want to go to bed and just forget all about it. But I am on a trip and it would be a waste for me to just sleep the trip through. I will be back here after a few days so I would have more changes to explore the city. It was approaching winter and it was already dark late afternoon. It was also time for the city to light up, and light up they did.

Like any other self respecting European city, it would be bad on them if the city didn’t look as good at night as it does in the day. I was truly surprised by this city since I was thinking it was more a backward country and thus won’t have the resources to spend on looks. How wrong was I. The lights are up here in Warsaw and it looks very pretty. The main street out of the old town of Warsaw is lined with historical buildings which are also lit up. It really makes for a very nice photo but the rain was putting a damper on things. I just decided to head back to the old town.
