It wasn’t long before our ferry finally came to pick us up. Most of the passengers seem to be tourists but it didn’t really matter. We packed into the small boat and sped off into the direction of Kuala Besut. The day was bright and sunny. I had the misfortune of sitting where the sun shone so it was really hot, this will add more to the bad burns I already got from the island hopping tour. It was strange how fast time went by, now that I find myself heading back to town. I wished it would have lasted a little longer.

The trip wasn’t very long and soon enough we were greet by the long beaches of Kuala Besut. It was quite surprising to see such long stretches of beach here at Kuala Besut, maybe they should start marketing them. Then again, there is always that allure of staying at a sparsely populated area just to get away from it all. We docked at the Kuala Buest Jetty, where we departed from in the first place. We quickly made our way back to the ticket station to hopefully catch our bus back to Kuala Terengganu but they said it won’t be back just yet, so we went for lunch first. It was quite unnerving to be waiting for a bus whose arrival time you are not very sure of. Then again, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go back home in the first place knowing what was waiting for me when I get back.
