A Tub of Popsicles at Haerbin 哈尔滨

I was having a grand time in Zhongyang Street when I noticed this large group of people crowding outside a store. I was curious to see as to what was so special about that place. As it turns out, this place was selling popsicles and paradoxically they were selling like hotcakes. It was cheap too costing only several yuan. Normally, Chinese people are not into cold stuff, as they would prefer hot beverages to cold ones, but not in Haerbin.

In Haerbin, the colder it gets the more do these popsicles sell. There were two flavors to the popsicle. First being plain old vanilla, while the other one was yogurt. I grabbed one of the vanilla flavored ones and started eating myself. The good thing here is that it takes a while for the popsicle to melt because of the cold weather. And it was surprisingly fun to be eating something cold in this kind of weather. It was barely 10 degrees celsius and I was enjoying the popsicle. Taste? I didn’t really notice it that much since it was cold. I wonder how it would be like if it is below zero?
