On Top of Mount Tai 泰山

The ride to the top of Mount Tai, just like most cable car rides, was spectacular, although reaching this place wasn’t very fulfilling since I just paid my way up the mountain. Mount Tai isn’t really that tall to begin only about 1500 meters and I have been on cable car rides on mountains higher than this but it doesn’t really diminish the thrill of going so high up. The view looking back down isn’t as nice since it was quite misty and the sun was in that direction which made the mist even more visible thus rendering everything gray.

Upon exiting the cable car station you immediately go to the side of the mountain which is basically a ledge where you can look back down. It was a great view, naturally. The mountains although where shrouded in a thin mist, turned into layers and layers of gray. It was also interesting to look at the cable cars as they come up. I was wondering about how I would be going down from here. I guess I would have to decide after I take a look at the place. However, shelling out another CNY 80 sounds a little painful for me.
