Going to Labrador Park

Singapore has always been billed as a Garden City. It is true, they have a lot of greens and a lot of parks to boot. It is great that the greens have always come together with development. They even have a National Parks agency which oversees the operations of these parks. As a result there are a few established National Parks all over Singapore. One of these parks is Labrador Park.

Labrador Park is at the southern end of Singapore and is very near Vivo City shopping mall and the resort island Sentosa. In direct contrast to the massive facelifting that Sentosa has undergone, Labrador Park remains at its very heart, a park. This park has a lot of history attached to it and thankfully most of the history is still intact and free for visitors to explore. To get to Labrador Park, get an NParks bus at the Harbourfront Bus terminal that goes to Labrador Park, buses don’t go as often as the other buses though so there will probably be some waiting time.
