The Concierge, I Mean, the Cashier's Counter
After touring the mini-theme park at Suzhou Times Square I really started to get hungry. Our local friend left one of his friends to wait outside the restaurant to let us know when to come back. It has probably already been 45 minutes since we were exploring the shopping mall. I can’t believe we needed to wait that long to eat at this place, since there didn’t seem to be any other people waiting along with us. Maybe it is because we were six and they can only accommodate smaller groups? Then again, this was nothing unusual as I have seen queues for Chinese restaurants with waiting areas outside and guests given melon seeds to pass the time.
