Belltower of the Church of Saint Augustine in Panglao

Just as any self respecting church in Bohol, the Church of Saint Augustine also has a bell tower of its own. The four storey tower of coral stone is reputedly the tallest in the country. Looking at the surrounding area, it was not hard to tell why the tower needed to be tall. The church of Saint Augustine is built beside the sea, however between the sea and the church there is a buffer of some mangrove swamps, which will make it difficult for lookouts to spot any invaders.
