Independence Memorial

As I was done with my exploration of A’Famosa Portuguese fort, there wasn’t much for me to see beyond here. Further out from A’Famosa is a huge shopping mall just across the street. It was rather unsightly to locate a major mall so near the historic areas but nothing can be done about it now. It was already there when I first visited which made me think of Melaka as one large shopping mall with some ruins behind it.
