After my rather disappointing exploration of the Manila Ocean Park, I decided to continue on behind the Quirino Grandstand and out into Roxas Boulevard. There were a number of restaurants at the end of the road most of them not particularly interesting. However, as I walked towards Roxas Boulevard, I noticed there was a restaurant which seemed quite out of place. It was the Little Lamb Restaurant 绿品小肥羊. This restaurant is the most popular steamboat chain in China and it finally has a branch here in Manila, of all places. I’ve often heard about this place from my Chinese friends and I always wanted to try it out. However, they don’t have a branch in Singapore and I would have to fly to Hong Kong or Shenzhen just to be able to eat there. So imagine my surprise to find out that they decided to open a branch here.
