Interesting Art at the Hunt Museum

I was very relieved to find the Hunt Museum, not because I was so excited to visit it but because it was raining very heavily and I just want some shelter. It is actually not that far from where I was staying but the rain ruined the walk to the point where I totally missed the museum right in front of me. Anyway, the Hunt Museum is a showcase of the art collection of the Hunt family. There is an entrance fee here, I’m not that big into art museums but I got a discount from the entrance. It was also only an hour away from closing time so I need to hurry up and go around the museum.

The museum isn’t very large and can be easily covered if you are not a museum freak. What was interesting is that not all of the art is displayed immediately. Some of the art are kept in drawers and visitors are encouraged to open any drawer they see. True enough, some of these art as the smaller ones which are best displayed with a drawer. I actually liked that part where you get to explore what else the museum has to offer. However, this also means that it is possible to miss important pieces if one wasn’t nosy enough to open the drawers.
