Going to the Hunt Museum

When I dropped my bags at my accommodation, the hosts were recommending where I go. I would have to admit that I don’t know much about Limerick as I didn’t really plan where to go this trip. My hosts listed out a couple of places all within walking distance of each other. I decided not to bring the car this time since I remember the heavy traffic I encountered just coming into the city. It was lucky since this place was quite near the city center. I was promised 15 minutes of walking and it was just right. Eventually, I came across the river where the city center was and from here it was on to exploration.

It was also at this time that the rain started falling down harder. This was not the drizzle type of rain but heavy ones. I noticed that people here carry umbrellas. I actually brought an umbrella with me but I left it in the car. I thought umbrellas would be useless but there didn’t seem to be any wind here unlike in Donegal. The first place I visited as the Hunt Museum. I actually walked past it and I actually saw the name of the place. It didn’t really register with me since I was getting irritated with the heavy rain. I had to circle around the area a few times because realizing that I already walked past it.
