Walking in the Streets of New York

Radio City at Night

Radio City at Night

I was with friends exploring the city of New York after a business trip. It was cold but dry that night, which made for night winter weather. My friend wasn’t very prepared for the cold and he was shivering. There was no wind here but that didn’t really help. Still it was a chance to explore another place with friends so he didn’t let that chance go to waste. We don’t intend to cover all of New York city in one night but I think it would be prudent to just go to the ones which look good at night. Unfortunately, New York doesn’t have a shortage of such places. We visited Times Square which was near our accommodation and proceeded on foot to other places.

We walked past Radio city which is another one of New York’s landmarks. This is a major venue for events. The iconic neon signs were all ablaze and it really reminds you that you are in New York City. I enjoy exploring New York city on foot much to the chagrin of my good friend, I am more aware of my tendency to walk far so it won’t happen again. Anyway, we didn’t enter Radio city as we were just making our way to Rockefeller center. Our shivering friend probably won’t be able to handle too much of the cold so we will just have to visit these few places.
