ArtScience Museum at the Marina Bay Sands

There was another component of the Marina Bay Sands which I haven’t talked about. It seems like every component of the Marina Bay Sands was designed to be outstanding. I was impressed with the renders of the Marina Bay Sands when it first came out. The hotel, shopping mall, and the exhibition center were all outstanding but there was a curious structure which was separate from the building. It looks like a flower, or it is a hand I wasn’t sure. It was supposed to be a museum. It is probably the last structure to be completed here in the Marina Bay Sands. For the longest time seemed to be under construction, I’m guessing that the museum doesn’t generate as much revenue as the casino or the rest of the resort that it didn’t matter if it was the last to be built.

I think this was the first time I’m seeing it complete. There used to be scaffolding every time. The museum called the ArtScience Museum is supposed to host exhibitions every now and then. There were a few on going but I didn’t have time to go in. I only mean to photograph them. Speaking of which, it is a nightmare to photograph it especially at night since it is so bright compared to the dark sky. One needs to adjust the compensation to make sure the image comes out right. Anyway, it makes fine addition to the already impressive Marina Bay Sands Complex.
