Going Back to the Cagsawa Ruins

I was done exploring the Hoyop-hoyopan Cave. It was a surprisingly interesting tour and this was primarily because of the extremely helpful guided tour provided by the caretaker here. The tour of the cave ended with a peek at the peak of Mayon Volcano. I think it was also good that it was so since I realized that it was a clear day. I immediately thought to make a run for the Cagsawa Ruins, hoping to make it back there to get a nice photo. It was still a walk back to the main highway going back to town.

The problem now is how to get back to Camalig town center. I stood at a waiting shed hoping some kind of public transport would pass by. I took a jeepney coming here and I hope that another one would pass by. I took a bit of waiting since there doesn’t seem to be any regular transportation here. I did come across a tricycle which was going back to town. The thing with public transport like this is that there isn’t a fixed rate for this. I have this idea that drivers would randomly shout out prices depending on how you look like. Long story short, I managed to get back to Camalig town center. I easily found a jeepney heading towards Legazpi city. I found the junction going back to Cagsawa and started walking back. The sun was already going down, I don’t want to miss my opportunity.
