Walking Towards Westerpark in Amsterdam
We finally met up with my friend who lives here in Amsterdam. The last time I saw them was around three years ago, it is quite nice to see them again. This time it was their turn to tour me around. We were supposed to go for drinks and they seem to know where to go. They brought us through a scenic part of the city of Amsterdam where we got to see some of the more famous parts of the city. We were supposed to go for drinks somewhere near the city center but the place was already full and it was only late afternoon. They decided to move on to a place outside the city center.
People Relaxing at Westerpark in Amsterdam
It seems that the place would be quite near as we would only be walking. Already the place seems to be less busy as it is not in the city center. We were brought to a park which is known as Westerpark. It is one of the largest parks in the city. I immediately noticed that the park has a lot of people. It seems the locals are out in full force today since the day was very nice. There were ponds in the park and it was very nice for relaxing despite the number of people here. There seemed to be an old gas factory here which is now converted into an entertainment center, I think this is where we will be having our drinks.
