Sausage Sandwich at De Seven Wouden in Sloten
We had a grand time exploring the small but beautiful city of Sloten. It was recommended to us by a local and it was convenient to visit as well, since it was nearby. We actually had to change our plans for this day since we will be going the opposite route. It may not be a bad thing since it was recommended by locals. In our intense exploration of the city, we somehow forgot why we came here in the first place – food.
Some Kind of Sandwich Roll at De Seven Wouden in Sloten
We originally came here in search of lunch. We thought that since we were coming here anyway, we might as well have some lunch here. I was surprised that there weren’t a lot of choices here. We saw a few outdoor restaurants but we decided to keep on looking. We finally settled down on a restaurant near the central canal – De Zeven Wouden. I was hoping to get some authentic Dutch food, but according to a local friend, there is no such thing. We ended up getting sandwiches which wasn’t that bad, but I wanted real food, sandwiches just don’t cut it for me. What was nice here was the it was outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed people watching. It seems to be the place to be in the entire city.
