Snack Shops in Galeries Royales St. Hubert

I was trying to walk off the Bush beer which I had earlier. Thankfully, it didn’t hit me as hard as I feared it would. I had some time before the concert my friend attended would finish, so I thought it would be nice to go for a stroll in the Brussels city center. I ended up going in the Galeries Royales St. Hubert when I noticed that there were lights on in the shopping arcade. The shops were all closed now but it was still a nice walk. It seems that it is also a major shortcut. You can get to the restaurant row from here as well as gain access to the Brussels Central railway station.

I was hoping I would be able to do some shopping since I didn’t have much to do. I haven’t started to buy stuff I would be bringing back home. Chocolates were a given but the sheer number of shops here would baffle anyone. The shops were closed though so I can only but admire their displays from the outside. The chocolate shops here were artisan, not your supermarket type of chocolate. I guess if you wanted to impress someone with chocolates, these are the ones you buy. Belgium is proud of their chocolates and rightly so. Now, if only they have some sort of free taste for shoppers.
