The Brussels City Center is truly a sight to behold. The old buildings were very well preserved. Although the ground floor has mostly been commercialized, it is still not that bad. I would like to think that it helps keep the buildings in top condition. One of the highlights of a visit to Brussels would be the Grand-Place which is probably one of the most beautiful squares in the world. We were done with the square and we realized that it was already time for dinner. It was already quite late in the day but there still light out since it was summer. At least my stomach was telling me what time it is.

I think looking for a place to eat in Brussels City Center isn’t really that hard. It is looking for a good place to eat is the challenging part. We eventually ended up somewhere there was a row of restaurants. It seems like this place was a restaurant area. We started checking out the place here. A lot of the places were full of people since people were busy catching some football action. I didn’t really care much about football, I just want some food. We then ran into this guy who works for a restaurant. He seemed to be the overly friendly type. I have seen this kind of person before, and I was wary of him. Unfortunately, my friend was already taken by his words “first beers are on the house” and we were soon walking in.
