Sunset at the Cliffs of Moher

Golden Sunset at the Cliffs of Moher

I was happy to see that the sun was finally peeping from the clouds just in time for sunset. Already the Cliffs of Moher were being illuminated by the sun with a beautiful golden glow. I managed to catch a piece of the action when my part of the cliffs were lit up by the sun. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough cliff on my side. I realized that I was on the wrong side of the cliffs. I should have turned left instead of heading towards the tower. It was too late for me to run off to the other side to take photos of the cliff now all I can to is to enjoy the sunset.

I can’t recall seeing a proper sunset here in Ireland. The problem is that it cloudy or raining most of the time. On the odd day that the sun does shine, I would not be available take a photo. I never really paid attention to the weather forecast, but in Ireland, it seems to be quite important. It may not be a hundred percent accurate given how fickle the weather here is. I guess when heading out just assume that it will rain. The sun was already very low in the horizon. There was enough cloud cover to scatter the sunset’s colors. In moments like this, it seems that all the problems in the world disappear. I was thankful to have witnessed this beautiful sunset more so at an equally beautiful location.
