Tower at the Cliffs of Moher

I was glad to be able to visit the Cliffs of Moher. Although I never knew of the existence of this place until I came to Ireland. The moment I saw the photos of the cliffs I decided I would be visiting it. It is going to be tricky to visit the Cliffs of Moher since I want it to be lit up properly. I thought that sunset would be the best time to visit the place since the cliffs would be directly illuminated by the setting sun since it faced west. I was hoping I would get lucky since that morning was so beautiful which is a rarity in Ireland.

The whole area is huge and there is so much ground to cover. I was in a rush but my friends weren’t. I decided to go on ahead so I can catch the sun. Upon reaching the cliffs are you are given a choice to left or right. To go left means to go explore the cliffs immediately, to go right, you can go see what appears to be a tower. I decided to go to the towers since it seems interesting. I wasn’t sure if the tower was original but it was unoccupied at the time. Maybe it is just a security post. It would be nice to be able to climb to the top of the tower to get a better view of the area. The place is already high up though, so it might not make that much of a difference.
