Walkway Going Down the Hill from Hamilton Park in Weehawken

Although it was the first time I took a city bus in New York, I wasn’t terribly worried since I had a fair idea of what the route of the bus would look like. The bus passed by a road which overlooks the city of New York and the view is quite difficult to miss. I got off Hamilton Park at a place called Weehawken in New Jersey. It seems the name Hamilton Park is not very well known here was someone who lived in Weehawken didn’t know there was a Hamilton Park here. Anyway, I took the a few photographs of the New York skyline from the ledge but I was hampered by the fact that I only had a wide angle lens with me.

As you will probably know, wide angle is good if you want to see more in the photo without moving further back. However, it is not good if you want to see more detail by having a closer look. Hopefully my camera has enough pixels that it can pick up a lot of detail in the photo. I was quite dismayed that I was so far from the water and I was trying to figure out how to get closer to the water. I was happy that I discovered a walkway which was built for visitors to walk down to the water’s edge. It wasn’t a long walk and I was glad that it was nearby. I was trying rush down the hill since the sun was already going down, and I don’t want to miss the light show.
