The Metropolitan Museum of Art has was very large collection of art. It is one of the world’s largest art museums and it shows. It was just one gallery after another. They have a large enough collection to divide the collections into regions where they came from. Some of the collections were interesting. The next one I ran into features armour used in battle, think soldiers and knights. This is the Art of War.

The collection here features an interesting display of armour over the centuries. There were a lot of Western style armour which I see on television. Interestingly some have glaring openings where it counts the most. This was probably due to the difficult of mobility in the joints. One interesting armour featured the metal shielding for the privates. This in particular seems to have been used by the king. Perhaps to show off as well. One area was close to the Japanese gallery and it had armour used the the samurai. Some of which I only see in Japanese animation.
