One World Trade Center at Night

I didn’t quite follow my plan to a T this that evening. I was exploring the Brooklyn Bridge but I didn’t realize that it was possible to climb up the bridge and walk on top of it. There was an elevated walkway on top of the Broolyn Bridge and I was walked the length of the bridge all the way to Manhanttan Island. I thought that was a nice experience since you don’t get to do that very often. The good thing about this is that the path leads to a few interesting places, most prominently the World Trade Center.

I have been to the World Trade Center with my good friend the previous week but this is the first time I would coming here at night. I wasn’t sure if it was open either or how tight security would be. I wasn’t sure where the center was either since I was just trying to follow the streets. I took one turn and all of a sudden there was the One World Trade Center staring at me. It was like a glowing jewel in the night. The crown of the tower was lit up by numerous light but the body was also lit up by numerous offices in the tower. I don’t know why so many lights were still open this late in the night, but I’m sure glad I don’t have to work like that.
