Hotdogs in New York

I enjoyed my visit to the High Line. I was pleasantly surprised at this piece of urban renewal. It part of my rather roundabout route of exploring New York City. From the end of the High Line I managed to find a subway station so I can go to my next destination. Unfortunately, the destination is a place which I can’t really walk to. It is quite far and I would waste time if I did try to walk. Perhaps on the way back I would try walking. Anyway, I managed to find my way to the High Street metro station. I believe, I have already crossed into Brooklyn.

The metro station isn’t what I had in mind when coming here so I head towards the direction of the water. It was not really difficult to know where it is since everyone seems to be going that way. It was a bit of a walk but the area seems to be safe. The waterfront area seems to be a very busy place. There was a park here called Brooklyn Park but that is for another post. I saw that there was a hotdog stand here and I realized that I haven’t had hotdogs in a while. One of the New York experiences is to have hotdogs. I don’t think the hotdogs here were anything special but it is an “American” thing to do as a tourist. I had my hotdog until it was dusk. It was time to take photos.
