New Hall Military Museum

I was in the historic district of Philadelphia and there seems to be a entire district of old buildings. It is not really surprising since the Independence Hall is just down the road. Philadelphia used to be a temporary capital of the United States and it naturally developed a lot because of this. That is aside from being the place where independence was declared. It is good that most of the historical buildings have been preserved. I was walking down the road and I noticed this small alley where there was a nice row of old looking buildings.

I was taking photos of the building when I noticed that it was a museum. This was the New Hall Military Museum. I don’t have any real interest in history and military makes it even more boring. I was already there so I might as well have a look. Admission is free so I at least that removes another reason why I won’t want to go. The museum building is small and you should be able to explore the place in a few minutes. Inside were dioramas of events which I wasn’t really familiar with. There were also exhibits of the weapons used back then. I really didn’t have any interest but I thought the small museum was well thought out. Since it is free, visitors might want to give this a visit.
