Behind the Independence Hall

I was on my way out of the area when I discovered that I can have a short walk behind the Independence Hall. I didn’t get to go in this historic building since the free tickets have already run out. The area was fenced out, not too tightly though, but I didn’t want to chance trying to sneak in. The building was large and close enough so you can see a lot of it, except perhaps the inside, which is probably the most important part. Anyway, the point is, I still can’t get in.

From the rear, one might argue that this would be more attractive. It looks nothing like the front as this part is dominated by the clock tower, which seemed to be just a design element from the front. Now that I think of if, I’m not sure which one is the front anymore. Well, either way, I can’t get in so it doesn’t matter which one is the front. It is so frustrating since the only thing separating us from the tourists here is a small fence. Oh well, maybe it wasn’t meant to be. I will have more interesting things to see here in Philadelphia.
