Inside Rockefeller Center

It won’t be two weeks before I would get back to New York. I had a good friend with me this time and I hope this visit would be more enjoyable. First things first, I had a plan to visit an observation deck here in New York, and I wanted a very good place to do this. I thought about the landmarks and figured that I need the Empire State Building in the photo and I think there was only one choice for us that time and it was to go to the Rockefeller Center. I didn’t really know that there was an observation deck here. I only remember that there was a sign which said Top of the Rock which I took to mean an observation deck at the top of the Rockfeller Center. From Livingston, we made our way to New York once again, but this time, I am now more confident on where to go.

Once we secured our bus tickets back, made our way to Rockefeller Center. I still don’t remember which direction it is but that is what the map is for. The place was close enough to the bus station. To purchase tickets, the kiosks can be found at the first basement. We chose a viewing time of close to sunset that way we would get the best of day and night. It was actually my first time to enter the Rockefeller Center since I didn’t bother going in the last time. The lobby was richly decorated with a massive painting, which reminded of European palaces. This was all in monochrome but it somehow showcases the Rockefeller’s love for art. Not all is in display though, perhaps I would get a better idea when I visit this place later in the day.
