Bus From Livingston to New York

I traveled to Livingston New Jersey with a colleague and I was thinking I would have to rely on him for my transportation since I don’t have a license to drive in the United States. I had him chauffeur me to the hotel and to dinner but that Sunday was different. Seems he overslept and I was already done attending Mass. With not much to do that day and no transportation of my own, I decided to run off to New York on my own. There is apparently a community bus which passes by more or less hourly and drops passengers at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City.

I had the hotel bring me to the nearest bus stop, it was a short walk as I found out but better if someone brought me there. There was a lone bus stop which says which bus passes by. Bus 77 is the bus hopefully it is on schedule. There wasn’t much shelter here. The bus stop is right out there beside the road and the nearest shelter will be a small diner. While the temptation to wait at the diner for the bus is big, the risk of missing the bus because the bus driver didn’t see anyone waiting there is also big. I decided to suck it up and wait in the blazing sun. Probably won’t be so bad since I hadn’t been soaking any sun for almost two years.
