Going to Dunfanaghy

Low Tide at Dunfanaghy

I looked at the GPS trying to figure out where I would be going. I was in Bunbeg Pier but I had no idea what to do. Looking at the map, I saw that I wasn’t too far from the resort town of Dunfanaghy, it was also on the way home so I thought it would be a nice place to try to stop by. It was an easy drive to Dunfanaghy especially when I have a GPS navigation system with me. I can’t really emphasize how liberating this software actually is. I have been to the town of Dunfanaghy but I didn’t really explore much of the town. I remember passing by one of the stops here since it has a view of the sea.

When I got there, the waters were low and a lot of the beach was exposed. The sea itself was quite far away, quite different rom how I remembered it. The weather here was noticeably bettersince there are blue skies here. Maybe it is no coincidence that this place became a resort town. The beach here is quite big so it would be enticing to vacationers. I, however, don’t fancy myself dipping into cold waters even in the summer time. I never imagined that the waters here would still be cold even in the warmer months. Perhaps we are too far north for that.
