Overlooking Lough Dunlewey

I didn’t really know where I was going as I was just relying on the GPS to bring me to my destination. My Mind flashes with images of news where people fell into cliffs following the GPS. I always thought that was quite silly, since the GPS doesn’t really have control over the car. Anyway, the GPS was already telling me that I have already reached my destination but I don’t really see anything here. There were mountains nearby but I don’t see anywhere I could stop. I continued on driving until I came upon an area which was specifically made for stopping. These are quite common in scenic areas and I thought they are usually positioned optimally. I pulled over and got out.

True enough this is one of those stops where you can have a look around. Walking down the viewpoint you can see what is so special here. This is a place where you can look over the nearby Lough Dunlewey. I always love these kinds of views. You can see a great deal here. What is special here is that there is a small village here by the lake which make it even prettier. Unfortunately, the weather could be better. It was overcast and almost about to rain. I am sure that if the weather was better, I could get better shots here.
