Going to Titanic Belfast

However torturous dinner was that night, we probably still enjoyed it since we finished almost nine in the evening. We have been driving and exploring the whole day and it was deemed to be too late to head back to home which was still a two hour drive. We managed to find some temporary shelter at a friend’s place. We never intended to spend the night here but I think it is better than having to drive back tired and sleepy. We didn’t get a lot of sleep anyway, since we spent the night and part of the morning just chatting away. The next day we visited a local car boot sale. It was my first time visiting such a place and I was surprised how busy it was. There wasn’t a lot of stuff for me to buy there but apparently quite a lot of folk come here to buy and sell stuff. It thought it was quite enjoyable.

We soon parted ways since our gracious hosts probably still have stuff to do. We decided to just stay within the city for the rest of the day before heading back home. For some reason, my companions wanted to visit the Titanic Belfast, which is a center which showcases the history of the ill-fated ship. I wasn’t really very keen on doing this tour. I usually prefer natural or historical (really old) sights, but I didn’t really have a choice since I ride with them. The Titanic Belfast is near the city center by the sea. It seems to be the center of a new development in this part of town. The building itself looks, well, titanic. It is massive and very impressive. Who knows, maybe I would actually enjoy it here.
