Cave at Ballintoy

Ballintoy Harbor was a bit of a letdown considering how awesome Downhill was. Ballintoy Harbor is the site for one of the Game of Thrones locations, Lordsport in Pyke Island. It is a rather sleepy fishing port with some houses built on the sides of the hill. There were a few rocky outcrops in the water but nothing really interesting. We decided to take a look around the small fishing port since we were already there. Along the way, we met people who were apparently here for the same reason we were. It was then we came upon this small cave.

When we saw the cave, our imagination started running wild. Maybe this was where the dragons lived, but the cave was much too shallow to put a dragon in. There was even a bit of rubbish in the cave probably left behind by visitors. The rocky terrain here is quite interesting but apart from the cave itself, there was little else to see. We decided to head back to the car and hopefully reach our destination before dark.
