Unsurprisingly, our visit to Glencar Waterfalls was very short. We went there, took a few shots and left. There wasn’t really much to do there anyway. There is a trail which goes back to the entrance and allows you to pass through a forested part of the park. From here, you might be able to see a different angle of Glencar waterfalls but is wasn’t anything special. It seems the people also use this path as some sort of shortcut into the farmlands beyond the fence. There were some people who passed through a hole in the fence much to our consternation. Anyway, we head back to the car park to plot our next move.

I have been looking at the interestingly shaped mountain in the area and I have been trying to see if there was an angle where it appears together with Glencar Lake. There were some parking spots on the way back and we missed the one I wanted. It was too bad since the one where we ended up in was marshy and not as nice as the previous one. I took some shots anyway and we were on our way. I’m just glad I wasn’t the one driving.
