Like a lot of important civilizations, the Roman civilization was founded near the banks of a river. The Nile, the Ganges and Yangtze river all gave birth to large civilizations some of which have stood the test of time. The Tiber is the Roman civilization’s birthplace. The Castel Sant’Angelo was built on the banks of the River Tiber, the river is still there and it is probably one of the most beautiful places to walk along in the entire city. I would probably go down to explore parts of the river.

From the top of the Castel Sant’Angelo, you can see a good deal of the River Tiber as well as some of the bridges which span the river. From here, it already looks like it has some beautiful rivers, not surprising since a parts of the city are already beautiful through their liberal use of baroque and renaissance art. The bridges here seems to be just as beautiful, I can’t wait to see them.
