Morning at Saint Peter’s Square

Obelisk and Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome

It seems that it was going to be an uneventful day. We decided to spend some more time at the Ai Villini restaurant just because we don’t have plans for the rest of the night. I would have wanted to go back to the Vatican for night shots but I think I can do that some other night. My friends would start complaining that they have been visiting too many churches this trip and it is true, we practically have been visiting churches every single day since we arrived in Europe. I got a bit more head start since I started in Madrid. It seems that I would have completed my Holy Week Church visitation after all. I can’t even remember how many churches I have been to. I don’t even have a photo of some of them.

We spent the night playing with the stuff in the living room. The sound system was actually not that bad and we were playing classical music just because we were in Rome. Staying in such a place really makes you feel rich, I just wish that that place was mine. Anyway, it was a busy day the following morning. As we needed to make sure we get in Saint Peter’s Basilica early. The sky was very clear at Saint Peter’s Square and it was a great background to the majestic Saint Peter’s basilica. Already there were a lot of people queuing to enter the basilica. I just hope we don’t have to do the same thing.
