Admiring the View from the Second Level of the Eiffel Tower

Beautiful Viewing Telescope at the Eiffel Tower

I have always liked visiting high places such as mountains and towers but only to find out that my legs would turn to jelly whenever I look down. I love taking photos of the view from these high places but unfortunately, can’t really get the best viewing conditions every time. When we got to the foot of the Eiffel Tower, I already noticed that there was a lot of mist and figured that visibility won’t be very good here. We didn’t really have a choice since it was already our last day here in Paris and we still have to climb the tower. It was our third attempt to climb the tower and this time we are successful. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t very good. You just have to take whatever is given to you.

The second level, although not very high when compared to the rest of the tower, is already high when compared to the rest of Paris. Already, you can see quite a lot of Paris from this point. It also makes you think, if the mist is so bad, it might actually be better if your just stayed in the lower levels. Well, no one climbs the Eiffel Tower and just goes to the second level, right? We took our time to take photos here while we can still recognize places. It was a wet day and I don’t think it would be getting better any time soon. Looking, up we still have a long way to go.
