The street we were walking on was getting steeper and steeper, I think is a good sign since it means we are about to reach our destination. The town center of Provins is on a small elevation which meant that the old town is at or near the highest point of the area. I loved the charming little houses here in Provins. I was hoping I would be able enter one of them. However, we still need to go to the tourist information center inconveniently located away from the train station.

We had a little company this time with an American couple who also didn’t know what to see here in Provins. It looks like we will be heading to the tourist information center together. We were able to reach the main square which wasn’t that big. It is a small town anyway, so this as probably as big as they needed it to be. There was a cross in one side of the square next to a well. It reminded me of a cruciero and I wasn’t sure if this was one. There wasn’t any sign there to tell us what it. Maybe we would be able to know more once get to the tourist information center.
