Our trip today will bring us out of Paris and one of the small towns outside Paris. The Gare de l’Est metro station is where were taking our train. The Gare de l’Est Station is a major metro station which connects to Lines 4, 5 and 7. Not only that, the Gare de l’Est Station also connects to the suburban railway lines of Transilien. There are also other railway companies here like the SNCF and its well known high speed TGV service, for now, we will be taking the Transilien train out of town.

It was still a bit early in the morning and the station wasn’t as busy as we thought it would be. We were just waiting in front of the turnstiles until our trains would be available for boarding. There was a large announcement board for that fortunately. It would be difficult for us if it was announcement verbally. There was WIFI in the station which gave us some time to catch up with the internet. We were just mooching off someone else’s wifi but it was enough to send out a few messages and check mail.
