We next entered a red room. This place seemed special as well, notably, there was a bed at the center of the room. This was obviously the bedroom of someone important. It seems it was the bedroom of Louis XVI. The room was very richly decorated much like the other rooms but this rooms seems to prefer red. I much admit that the red and the gold do look very nice together. The ceiling as expects it filled with beautiful paintings. It is split into multiple panels, each of them with a story to tell. The bed itself looks very nice. It even has its own roof which is likewise richly decorated. It does look like the bed itself is quite high and one would probably need a chair to be able to climb up, so you can’t exactly just roll into bed here.

There seems to be a modicum of privacy here as the bed is surrounded by red curtains. No doubt in the times when the king is sick of being seen by people and he just wants to hide. This is probably the most private place he can have. The room itself connects to the other rooms much like the rest of the rooms before it. It seem that the king also does his work here. Probably also meeting guests in the bedroom just after waking up. There are numerous seats around the bed probably for dignitaries or officials in case the king doesn’t feel like leaving the bed.
